Hurting is how humans grow, though. It's because they're unhappy that they always do their best to improve and find happiness.

What do you mean wish it was? All of this is so new, and it hurts to know that my humans would have to hurt to grow...when they grew up into very able adults. I really really don't know, I'm so confused..

Growing into an adult isn't the same thing as improving themselves. At least, not back home.

A..pet? I certainly do pet and hug them, yes, but they are apart of our Families. The minute the parents want any of us to watch their little ones, we do so alongside them. Or if the child chooses us.
